* To be eligible for the Student Fee, proof of status (for example, a valid Student ID of a recognised academic institution or a reference letter by an academic supervisor) must be produced on site. The Organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to the Conference if such proof cannot be produced.

Information relating to the registration process

Passport: The registration will require information about your passport (for visa purposes), so please have your passport ready before starting the registration process. For local participants, passport information is not required.

Payment: Payment of the registration fee is by credit card only, using the online payment system on this website. Please make payment within 7 days of your registration to secure your seat at the Conference. Otherwise, your registration will be cancelled. The payment deadline for the early bird discount remains on 9 March 2018.

Invitation letter: If you need a special invitation letter for your visa, please first complete your meeting registration. You can then request an original signed visa letter for entering into Hong Kong SAR, China from the Hague Conference on Private International Law by contacting us directly at enq@hcch125.org. Please note that visa application postage fee will be applied to all visa application requests and will vary based on recipient's address.


CPD Information

The Law Society of Hong Kong has approved the allocation of CPD points for the conference. Delegates can earn up to 13 CPD points by attending the conference.

Changes to the registration

Registered participants who are unable to attend the conference cannot nominate a substitute participant and the request for a name change constitutes a cancellation and a new registration. If you wish to request a name change, please e-mail or fax the request to:
